Ubbink's Aqua Oxy algae killer is a granulate for pond water care that helps you remove sediment from ponds. Artificial ponds in particular do not behave naturally due to their smooth side walls. All accumulated sediment and impurities (such as leaves, food scraps and pollen) quickly sink to the bottom and form a layer of sludge. Normally, these sediments are broken down by microorganisms using oxygen. But often there is hardly any oxygen in this layer of sludge, which is why substances are formed that make ponds unsightly, smell of rot and thus deteriorate the water quality. The Aqua Oxy sinks to the bottom, penetrates the sludge and feeds the microorganisms, which in turn begin to break down the sludge.
